Ilfolio Privacy Policy
Ilfolio lets you create and display Markdown folios on your Android phone and widgets. Your folios live in a folder in your own Google Drive. This policy covers the Ilfolio app and its optional ChatGPT connection. For questions or privacy requests, email support@microdash.sbs.
Information Ilfolio uses
- Google account: your account ID, name, email address and profile photo for sign-in and to show the connected account in the app.
- Folios and images: the notes and images you choose to create, edit, sync or attach. Ilfolio accesses files it creates or that you select for it, rather than your whole Drive.
- Device information: a push token and limited device identifiers so the app can be prompted to sync after a connected change. Push messages contain no folio content.
- Optional ChatGPT connection: if you link it, an encrypted authorisation and account ID let the connector read or change your folios when you ask it to. Folio content passes through the service to complete those requests; it is not kept as a copy of your folio. A successful write may leave a short-lived retry record containing its result metadata, such as a folio title or file name, for up to 24 hours.
- Operations: short-lived counts and technical logs for reliability and fair-use limits. The logs do not contain folio bodies, images, email addresses or access tokens.
Ilfolio has no advertising or analytics SDK in the app. Diagnostics remain on your device unless you choose to share them with support.
Where information goes
Your folios and images are stored in your Google Drive and cached on your device. Sign-in, file storage, push delivery and the optional ChatGPT connection use the relevant service providers to deliver those features. Ilfolio does not sell your information or use it for advertising. If you connect ChatGPT, information you ask it to handle is also subject to that service's terms and privacy practices.
Security and retention
Connections use HTTPS. The optional connector authorisation is encrypted on the service. Local app data is cleared when you sign out. A device registration is removed on sign-out or after 60 days without renewal. An unused ChatGPT link is removed after 90 days. Technical logs are retained for a short period; daily usage counts are kept long enough to enforce the daily limit.
Disconnecting and deleting data
In Ilfolio, open Settings and sign out to clear the app's local data and request removal of its device registration and ChatGPT link. If you are offline, removal of the link is retried when the phone reconnects. You can also revoke Ilfolio's Google access in your Google Account and remove the connector in ChatGPT. These actions do not delete the ILFOLIO folder in your own Drive; you control that folder and can delete it there.
If you can no longer use the app, or want us to check or delete information held by the Ilfolio service, email support@microdash.sbs with “Ilfolio data deletion” in the subject. Do not send passwords or access tokens. We may need to verify that the request relates to your account before acting.
